The award-winning north Wales ice cream producer Môn ar Lwy – Taste of Anglesey – offers more than simply a tasty snack to be enjoyed at the beach with its Dairy Beloved bespoke service.

Môn ar Lwy is a family business, and the result of Helen Holland’s life-long love affair with ice cream. Every scoop, every mouthful is bursting with creative energy and Helen’s passion for ice cream perfection. The company believes in sustainability and supporting local producers. Milk comes from a dairy less than two miles from the ice creamery, and fruit is sourced locally (apart from limes and mangoes!)

Helen is extremely excited about the company’s latest thrilling venture, which she has named Dairy Beloved. “This is a unique wedding service,” she explains. “We can offer a bespoke dessert banquet where couples can choose flavours to suit their own tastes and preferences. Ice cream flavours that I have recently made include blackcurrant and apple charlotte, mango and lime pavlova, and raspberry and white chocolate New York cheesecake. I also make heart-shaped shortbread biscuits to serve with the ice cream.”

The Dairy Beloved package can be tailored to suit the wedding and also includes Belgium chocolates and fresh fruit. The bespoke Taste of Anglesey packages are not just for weddings – they would make the perfect addition to a special party, anniversary or christening. The ice cream is stylishly presented in a traditional ice cream cart, which can be decorated and accessorised to co-ordinate with a chosen theme or scheme. Although based on Anglesey, Helen and her team travel to north Wales, Liverpool, Chester and Manchester.
